Residents at Gratitude Recovery are guided through a mindfulness practice on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. A great way to start the day with focus and a calm mind. This is a great time to set an intention for the day and connect with housemates and staff. After mindfulness practice you are ready to have a great sober day!
Many of our residents learned Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, Interpersonal Effectiveness, and Mindfulness skills during their time in treatment. Our goal is to create a community where those skills are reinforced and used to overcome the challenges that many people face after leaving residential treatment. Get ready to stretch your skills!
Gratitude Recovery is all about well being! We buy healthy, organic food for everyone to enjoy. Breakfast and lunch are self serve and dinner is made three nights a week. We help to motivate and guide our residents to make healthy food choices on a daily basis so they can feel great physically as well as psychologically. Great nutrition is essential to early recovery!
Our locations make it easy for residents to reach their IOPs, therapy appointments, the gym, and social activities. Many residents also have and drive their own vehicles. Our Malibu location has plenty of parking spots available on the property, while Brentwood locations offer street parking.
Our team’s unique training and case management experience benefit those residents who need help coordinating care with their treatment teams. Our extensive network of contacts make it easy and convenient to connect with service providers in the recovery field.
